RESOURCE POPULARITY
Clients can sort resource lists by popularity— how many times a given resource has been
“accessed”. In other words, how many times somebody actually read an article,
followed a weblink, or viewed a video.
RESOURCE STAR RATINGS
Clients can quickly locate resources that others found valuable by sorting
resources by their star ranking. Each time a client accesses a resource, they are
given the opportunity to rank the resource by assigning it from one to five stars.
Your staff can also rank resources.

The graphic that displays the star rank is also the control for setting a ranking.
Simply click on the first through fifth star to set a ranking of 1 to 5.
A client’s own star ratings are shown in gold. The average of all client
ratings is shown in red. The average of all staff ratings is shown in blue.
RESOURCE COMMENTS FROM CLIENTS & STAFF
Next to the stars is a graphic of a cartoon balloon with an exclamation point
inside— the “comments icon”. By clicking the comments icon,
clients and staff can add comments about the resource which may be helpful to other clients.

Some people are very good at browsing sites using logically designed menu systems.
Others are baffled, no matter how well designed a website’s navigation system might be.
For them, PureSBDC provides a powerful site-wide search system which organizes its results
into logical categories.
Clients can perform a simple keyword search, or an advanced
search that narrows the scope of their query using by employing additional search parameters.
Additionally, a keyword search field appears at the bottom of every resource, FAQs,
and workshop list— allowing clients to confine their searches to those lists.
ARCHIVED QUERIES
Every search query is archived for later analysis so you’ll know what resources your
clients are looking for. This can help your SBDC network identify gaps in your knowledge base,
and help you better understand your clients’ needs.
